Aikido Recruitment Is Open
You can try Aikido, a Japanese self-defense martial art, for free.
Training is suitable for men and women regardless of age or fitness. We train in our own dojo in Karlin, right by Křižíkova metro station (line B). Bring comfortable sports clothes, slippers and a towel. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class.
Every Friday evening you can stay in the dojo a little longer and ask anything you want to know.
Beginner classes
Join us in Karlin, where experienced members guide every new student.

There are also morning/noon classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (registration required): register.
If you already feel confident, join Friday class at 18:00 as well.

The offer applies with a new beginner registration and at least one month of paid membership. Students get lower fees.
Your first class is free. Since one class is not enough to understand Aikido, we also offer your first two weeks at a discounted price.
We accept new members all year round. Previous martial arts experience is not required.
Aikido should be enjoyable first. Each person adjusts pace and intensity to their own ability.
For steady progress, training at least twice per week is recommended. Later you can add extra classes (beginners, bokken, jo).

Training is suitable for men and women of all ages and fitness levels. Join our beginner classes and a senior member will guide you through every step.
Training
Aikido classes are split by level and class type (up to 17 hours weekly). Sessions run in the morning, at noon and in the evening.
